Having healthy boundaries are necessary for our mental wellbeing. When we don't set healthy boundaries, we mentally suffer. 🌺 Some of us might be frustrated with ourselves for not being strong enough to stand up for ourselves. It is much easier to stand for up for others than for ourselves. Be patient with yourself and keep practicing. 🌺
For some of us, we learned from childhood that it was not acceptable to have boundaries. We had to say yes when we wanted to say no. So now as adults, we lack the skills to set healthy boundaries. But those skills can be learned. 🌺 Some of us might be scared to set healthy boundaries because we're afraid if we do, then that person will get upset and/or will leave us. Honestly, if they can't respect your boundary, then they don't need to be a part of your life. They're indirectly telling you that you're not important. 🌺 What are some ways you can set a healthy boundary with others?
